Privacy policy

The short version. Quest Academy collects nothing. There are no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking of any kind. Everything your child does stays on your own device, and the app works with no internet connection at all.
Information we collect
None. We do not collect personal information from children or adults. We operate no servers that receive your data, and we have no way to see how the app is used.
Information stored on your device
To make the app work, the following is saved locally in the app's private storage:
- A player's first name or nickname — this can be any name you choose
- Grade level and selected theme
- Learning progress: points, rank, streak, skill levels and badges
- Practice history and the list of words to review
This never leaves the device and is not transmitted to us or anyone else. Deleting the app erases all of it permanently.
No accounts
Quest Academy requires no account, email address, phone number or password. We never ask for contact details, birthdates, photographs, location or contacts.
No advertising or tracking
The app contains no advertisements, no third-party ad networks, no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, no cookies and no tracking identifiers. We do not build user profiles and we do not engage in behavioral advertising.
Children's privacy (COPPA)
Quest Academy is designed for children and complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. Because we collect no personal information at all, there is nothing for us to disclose, share or retain. Parent-facing settings sit behind a gate intended to be answered by an adult.
Optional features you control
- Family Sync — you may generate a code containing your children's progress and send it to another of your devices, for example by AirDrop. This is entirely manual and goes only where you send it. It is never uploaded to us.
- Backup — you may save a backup file to your own device or storage. That file remains under your control.
- AI tutor (advanced) — some versions let a parent supply their own API key or connect a model running on their own computer. If enabled, question text is sent to the provider you chose. This is off by default and is not part of the App Store release.
Purchases
The optional Family Pack is processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details, and we receive no personal information from the transaction.
Data deletion
You can erase a player's progress at any time from Parent Corner, or delete the app to remove everything. Because we hold no copies, no request to us is necessary.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a revised date. If a future version of the app were ever to collect data, we would say so clearly and obtain consent as required by law.
